Whew! The first episode is finished. I love doing a "to be continued" sign :3

I'd also love hearing what you think about this episode. Did it make a good first impression? What did or didn't you like about it? Are you curious to find out more?

I scripted this episode so it can stand on its own well enough... for this reason it has a sort of climax. It should form a series pilot together with episode 2, so #2 will start almost exactly where this one leaves off. Don't expect the pilot to answer any questions... it should only implement a basic structure, introduce characters and settings and give an overall impression of what you can expect.

Next Saturday I'm going to upload some sketches and production notes, probably followed by some unused page layouts. Episode 2 will start the Saturday after that (September 16th).

Oh, and a little info for Staniel: I use 80g/m paper.

ooh.. i see new layout. Nice.. this one seems more cheerful.

Yea.. you did give a big impression on the first episode. Now everyone will wonder what she's got to do with the whole conspiracy thing. Sounds complicated. But you're doing it like a pro!

i think that this is an excellent first chapter. There seems to be a marked improvement in both style and story from "mr sandman"
Your back grounds seem to have much greater detail.

U have set up some intresting questions characters and relationships which leaves me waiting to find out more in chapter two!

Good job!

@sarafan: Thanks! I aim to please. I found the previous template to be a bit distracting... and too large. As to the story: Ever more conspiracy to come in the near future... just for you! :3

@Gaspode12: Glad to hear that. I let too much mediocre stuff slip on mr Sandman... I upped quality control a notch on this episode. Wait till you see eps. 3-5, they kind of bridge the gap artistically (they were done between 2002 and 2005, mr Sandman ended 2001).

@TKGB_Cocker: Good to know I can walk on that thin line between complexity and opacity. Thanks!
