It's been three weeks since I uploaded the previous page, hope you still remember what's going on ;-)
Updates should be back to weekly (on Mondays) from now on. The hiatus wasn't just because of my impending exams and the holidays (some of us have actually MORE time to work on comics during the holidays, which doesn't quite apply to me), but also because I needed some time to figure out what I should change about the following pages. There are only six pages to go (including this one) until I run out of old pages, and I want to make sure they end this three-episode arc in the right way. In the end I decided to change very little, but it took me two weeks to get to that decision :-)
On this page I replaced the last two panels with a new panel. I'll post the original page in the bonus section following this episode, including remarks on why I changed these panels (and a bit of dialogue).
And lest I forget: Happy New Year, everyone!
happy new year to you too! I'm amazed by your awesome action skills *.* wonderful wonderful--yay for more updates :D that is exciting :)
whoa she can control her powers? cracked that thing open with a single punch
@Tara: Thanks for the nice wishes and all the compliments :-)
@TKGB_Cocker: Ep. 1 & 2 were new pages which I did immediately before uploading them. The pages since ep. 3 had been drawn before, but I corrected and toned them before uploading them here. You can check the whys and hows in the bonus section, along with a timeline telling you when I did which page.
@tRickityHouses: Yup, my impression is that she can control her powers to a certain extent, and I tried to show that in the first big fight in episode 2. But at the same time I tried to convey a certain ambivalence... Sometimes I think using her powers is like sleepwalking for her (like when she wakes up in the lab in ep. 2 without any knowledge of how she got there). There's some trade-off between coscious and subconscious... but alas, that's the main topic of this comic, so I'll go into that later on :-)
