Ummm... what about the speech bubbles? ^^
top work as always
im curious, how much of this has already been drawn or are you doing these week in week out?
The first few pages of episode 1 were drawn in advance. As for the rest: Eps. 1 was completely scripted in advance, and the script was quite precise, so I was able to draw one page a week. The script for eps. 2 was pretty sketchy when I started drawing the pages, and I've kept changing things storywise as I went along. But to make sure the final pages wouldn't seem rushed I started drawing thumbnails in advance (usually when I get bored at university) and then drew the pages on the weekend. On my previous comics I used to do thumbnails for story/dialogue purposes only: when specific scenes popped into my head I'd sketch them. This comic is the first time I've used thumnbails for aesthetic purposes. I think it improves my work quite a lot, plus it spares me some headaches (i.e. the final layout doesn't have to be done on the actual page).
Once this episode is done I will set up a separate section for BG information like this... an art journal or a sort of making-of.
Thanks for asking!
